A Time Set Apart for a Lifetime Set Apart

Students from all around the country recently made the decision to dedicate part of their summer to deepening their faith at SPO's School of the New Evangelization. Over the course of two exhilirating weeks, young men and women came together in St. Paul to pray, share fellowship, and learn how to bear witness to Christ on campus. With great momentum, it will be exciting to see what happens as the work of the New Evangelization is put it into action this coming school year!

Highlights

Over 130 students attended SNE, making it the biggest to date!

28 universities were represented from Minnesota, Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylania, Kansas, Arizona, Florida, and a number of other states!

Bishop Sam Jacobs of Louisiana stopped by for a question and answer session.
Over 300 people came together for the New Evangelization Weekend to celebrate Mass and participate in a powerful time of prayer and fellowship.

Discipleship Training Academy (DTA)
DTA is a two-week experience that will set you on the road to the exciting life of Christian discipleship! This powerful program is designed for anyone who is seeking to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Campus Outreach Academy (COA)

COA is a two week experience of intensive basic training and formation for young men and women doing missionary work on university campuses. The talks and activities prepare participants in Catechesis, Evangelization and Principles of Christian Living.

Leadership Training Academy (LTA)

LTA is a two-week experience of advanced catechesis for young men and women doing ministry work among high school youth, university students and young adults. This program successfully challenges participants to grow deeper and more mature in their personal and ministerial choices.

New Evangelization Weekend (NEW)
This is a weekend conference filled with great teaching and deep worship. SPO and NET co-sponsor this incredible event. Special thanks to Archbishop Harry Flynn and Co-Adjutor Neinstedt for their encouragement, wisdom and service as they presided over 2 Masses during NEW 2007.
